The video labs in this series is applicable for Cisco Unity Connection versions 8.X to 11.X environments. Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) is a Messaging solution that provides Voice Mail and Unified Messaging for Voice IP communications (using Cisco Unified Communication Manager).

In this training series we will teach you the concepts, design aspects with best practices, and how to deploy Cisco Unity Connection as a solution step-by-step. You will learn how to install CUC in a virtual environment, integrating with Cisco Unified CM for phones to receive voicemail, to setting up Unified Messaging with Exchange 2010/2013 and Office 365 among other topics (seen under ‘Topics’).

This series is led by a 10-year CCIE architect with 17 years of real world experience with enterprise voice deployments.

Michel Thomatis, CCIE #6778 (15 year) – Chief Network Architect & Lead Trainer

Michel has spent the last 18 years as a network engineer/architect.  As a 15-year CCIE, Michel loves the opportunity to provide training in a wide-array of network technologies. He formerly worked at Cisco, as well as in government, banking, and non-profit organizations. He has published the “Network Design Cookbook” and a science fiction novel called “The Dark End”.  He has also published various iOS applications (virtual Network Engineer, Circlefalls) that can be found on Apple’s iOS App Store.  Other software development experience includes python and SDN.  Currently, Michel is the owner, Chief Network Architect and Lead Trainer at RouteHub Group, LLC.
